Escher Wayland Guitar - Vintage Amber Sunburst

This guitar is unique because the owner of this guitar will have a 50+ year old Adirondack spruce top! The top was acquired at an estate sale of a gentleman who worked for Gibson in the 50's and 60's. The US forest service verified the species as Eastern Red Spruce (Adirondak Spruce). I purchased 15 tops, many still had the factory grease pencil glue up markings. All were four piece tops.

This guitar has a classic Adirondak/Mahogany midrange boost and fundamental note clarity. These guitars take a bit of time to break in, so it will continue to improve in tone as time goes by. Don't miss out on owning this exceptional piece of musical artistry.

Quick note: The top sunburst looks mottled in some of the photos. It is not. what the camera is picking up is chatoyance (a shimmer effect that some wood exhibits in certain lighting conditions. It's really quite attractive!
