Escher Wayland Guitar - Jet Black
Sitka Spruce/ Michigan Maple back & Sides
$3500.00$2800.00
This guitar has a Sitka Spruce top and a Maple back and sides. I wanted to experience what tonal difference Maple would deliver vs. other tone woods. I had read that Maple doesn't contribute much to the sound (the way that Rosewood and Mahogany do), that the highs sometimes are too much. I was pleasantly surprised. The sound is balanced and guitar has a nice projection.
The Brazilian RW fretboard and bridge looks (and sounds) great in contrast to the jet black!
The price on this guitar has been reduced because there is a bit of repaired finish damage that has been repaired but is still visible. The location is on the back of the guitar near the neck joint. There are a few pictures of that area, but it's not easy to see.
